September 10, 2026A guest whose email bounces no longer disappears
When a participant form email could not be delivered, nothing anywhere knew. The guest never got their form, never filled in their details, and the first anyone found out was at the dock. The person who made the booking is now told so they can supply a working address.
- The booker is emailed — naming the guest and the address that failed, and asking for a correct one.
- The roster says so — that guest now reads "Email bounced" instead of "Awaiting form", because nothing is on its way and waiting will not change it.
- The morning brief knows — a diver you cannot reach is no longer listed as someone to chase through a form.
- Only permanent failures — a full mailbox is retried quietly and does not raise anything.
