The waiver goes out with the confirmation, is signed on the guest's own phone, and is on their record before the tanks are loaded. Nobody photographs a clipboard.
What goes wrong without waivers and check-in?
A clipboard on the counter is the last paper in the shop and the most expensive to lose. Guests fill it in while the boat waits, the handwriting is unreadable, minors get signed for by whoever is nearest, and a year later nobody can find the one form somebody is asking about.
How does Seascape handle it?
The waiver is a link. It goes out with the confirmation, opens on the guest's own phone, and is signed with a finger before they arrive. The signature is filed against the person rather than against a piece of paper, so a returning diver is not asked again and the manifest shows at a glance who has still not signed. A guest who has not signed gets a reminder before the trip, without anyone chasing them.
