    About

Built here, for the shops here

Booking software for dive shops, snorkel and tour operators in Belize. Online bookings, card payments, boat manifests, waivers and client records in one place.

Why does a Belizean dive shop need its own software?

Because the systems sold into this market were built for somewhere else. They price in a currency the bank does not settle in, they have no idea what a two-tank is, and they treat a certification level as a note in a comment box. The day a Belizean shop actually runs — two departures before lunch, walk-ins at the dock, a guide whose licence expires in March — is not the day they were designed around.

    Who builds it?

Built in Belize alongside a working dive shop. Not designed from a market report: the first version ran a real season, on real boats, and every awkward part of it — the deposit that never arrived, the manifest with a phone number on it, the waiver signed on the dock — was somebody's actual Tuesday before it was a feature. The people who write the software answer the email.

    What is it built on?

Seascape has run on its own infrastructure since August 2026: its own servers, its own database, and card payments through the Belize Bank gateway settling in Belize dollars into the shop's own merchant account. Nothing in the running system depends on the platform it was first prototyped on, which no longer exists.

These are counts from the production database, not estimates, and each carries the month it was taken. They are small numbers and they are the real ones — Seascape is early, and a page that rounded them up would be the first thing here worth not believing.

How do we decide what to build?

A shop says what went wrong on a particular morning, and that becomes the next thing. Every release is written up in the changelog with the date it shipped, so you can read what changed and when rather than being told the product is improving.
