    Seascape, compared

Seascape next to the systems a dive shop or tour operator in Belize is most likely to be weighing it against.

How are these tables put together?

Every competitor cell is read from that competitor's own website, and carries a link to the page it came from and the date it was read. Nothing is filled in from memory, from a review site, or from what a salesperson said. A cell we could not find published says “not checked”.

Why do some columns look so empty?

Because not everyone publishes. One of these platforms puts no price on its site at all, another renders two of its three prices as a placeholder, and none of the six mentions Belize, Belize Bank or Belize dollars anywhere. An empty cell is a fact about their marketing, not a claim about their product.

    What about Seascape's own column?

It is held to the same rule. Where a number of ours is not yet confirmed — the monthly price, the trial — the cell says what we can stand behind instead of a figure, and it changes everywhere at once when it is confirmed. A comparison page that is strict about them and loose about us is an advertisement.
