What goes wrong running dive courses on a spreadsheet?
Three things, and they are the same three in every shop we have sat in. Two people sell the same seat. The list the boat leaves with is not the list the office has. And the money taken at the dock does not match the money in the system, so somebody spends the evening working out which.

What does a day on Seascape look like?
It looks like the day you already run, with the re-typing taken out. The morning starts on one screen the office and the dock both read; the boat leaves with a manifest that is already right; the guests who turn up sign and pay where they stand; and the evening reconciles itself instead of being reconciled.

The open-water day on the boat: students by name with the instructor, alongside the certified divers on the same departure.
The student's record
Medical statement and waiver signed on their phone. The eLearning code was emailed from the booking on the day they paid the deposit.
Reconciliation
The course deposit, the balance and the gear rental are on one Booking ID. When they certify, the level goes on their record.
