    Guest messaging

A guest's reply lands on their booking

Every email the shop sends carries a reply address that names the booking. The answer comes back into the shop inbox, on the conversation it belongs to.

The shop inbox: a guest's reply filed on the booking it answers, with the whole conversation under it.

    Without it

A guest answers a confirmation email and the reply goes to whoever pressed send. The question sits in one person's inbox, the boat leaves without the answer, and nobody else in the shop knows it was asked.

    What Seascape does

Every email the shop sends carries a reply address that names the booking behind it. When the guest writes back, the message is filed on that Booking ID and appears in the shop inbox with an unread count beside it. A reply written from the inbox goes out under the shop's own address. An email from somebody with no booking is filed under their address on a conversation of its own.

    • A guest's answer is on the booking, so whoever opens it next reads it.
    • One inbox holds the whole conversation with that guest.
    • A message to everyone on a departure goes out in one action.

    What is included

    • Every guest email in one inbox, by conversation
    • A reply filed on the Booking ID it answers
    • Answer from the inbox, under the shop's own address
    • Email everyone on one departure, or everyone on a boat that day
    • An unread count in the sidebar
    • A message with no booking behind it is filed under its sender
    • The shop sends from its own address once the domain is verified
