Card payments online, and the balance at the desk
Your guests pay by card through the Belize Bank gateway, and the money settles into your own account in Belize dollars. The deposit is paid by card at booking, the balance from a link before the trip, and every payment lands on its Booking ID.
Without it
Money arrives at a card terminal, in the drawer, by bank transfer and as a note that says paid. Matching it to bookings is an evening's work, and the payment that was missed is the one that mattered.
What Seascape does
Card payments run through Belize Bank and settle in Belize dollars: a US$160 booking is charged BZD 320 at the two-to-one peg. A payment the gateway took reaches the booking whether or not the bank's own message arrives. Cash, card, bank transfer and store credit are all recorded against the Booking ID, and every payment on the financials page is on the CSV export with that Booking ID beside it. PayLink payment links are still supported for shops that use them.
