What breaks when the bookings are in three places
Two people sell the same seat. The list the boat leaves with is not the list the office has. The money taken at the dock does not match the money in the system, and somebody spends the evening working out which.

Per departure: names, shoe sizes, who is under sixteen and who signed for them. Opened on the guide's phone at the trailhead.
Check-in and waivers
Guests check in on the QR code at the lot. Adults sign on their phone; a guardian signs for a minor and the record says so.
Closing the day
Every payment is already on its Booking ID. The drawer closes against what was rung up, and the gate cash and the online deposits are on the same page.
