Can a Belize dive shop take card payments online?

When does the money reach my bank account?
Card payments with Seascape Payments are taken in Belize dollars and paid out to your business bank account on the schedule you choose. You get a statement listing every payment in the payout and what each one was for, and each payment carries the transfer's reference once it is sent.
The statement reaches the shop's inbox, and every payment in it is still on the Booking ID it was made against, so the payout and the bookings can be read against each other.
What currency does a card payment settle in?
Belize dollars. The Belize dollar is pegged at two to one against the United States dollar, so a booking priced at US$160 is charged and settled as BZD 320. You set the display currency on the booking page; the charge and the settlement are BZD either way.
You do not maintain the rate. If the peg moves, every payment taken after the change settles at the new one.

Does it handle tour guide licences?
Yes. A tour guide licence in Belize is issued by the Belize Tourism Board and it expires. Each staff member carries their licence number and its expiry date, and the reminder goes out the number of days ahead that you set, to the shop's inbox and to the dashboard.

Is Seascape built in Belize?

Do guests need to sign waivers before they arrive?
Yes, and the link goes out with the confirmation email. The guest signs on their own phone, and the signature is filed against their client record with the version of the waiver text they agreed to. A minor's waiver is signed by a guardian, and the record says who signed it.

Snorkel tours sold at the dock and by hotel desks. Most guests book on the day they travel, and the database checks the seats left on that departure before it writes the booking.

Where the day trips and the liveaboards leave from, and where the cruise-ship business lands. Guests are added on the morning of the trip, and the manifest link updates when the booking does, so the captain's phone shows the change.
