    A payout covers up to the end of the day before

    A scheduled payout now closes at midnight the night before it is sent, so the batch is a run of whole days rather than the previous period plus part of the payout morning.

    • Friday's payout is the week ending Thursday — a card taken on the payout morning goes into the following payout instead, with its own date on the statement. Nothing is skipped, only deferred.
    • A monthly payout covers a whole month — it used to cover the previous month plus the first few hours of the new one, so no statement ever lined up with a calendar month.
    • Why it changed — a card taken on the morning of a dive can be refunded that same afternoon. Paying it out hours later meant taking it back off the next payout, which is the hardest line on a statement to follow.
    • Pay out now is unaffected — if Seascape pays you off-schedule it still includes everything taken up to that moment.
