    A bigger, clearer menu on your phone

    The menu now slides up from the bottom and fills the screen, with larger text and icons, and Settings and the close button always within reach at the bottom. Icons across the app are bigger too.

    • The menu comes up from the bottom and fills the screen, the way you would expect on a phone. Settings and the close button stay pinned at the bottom while the list scrolls, and the list fades out behind them so it is clear there is more.
    • Bigger text and icons throughout the menu — on your phone and on a computer. They had been rendering smaller than intended.
    • A bigger notifications bell in the top bar.
    • Tapping anything in the menu now closes it — it used to stay open over the page you had just opened.
    • Another go at the pale strip at the top of the installed app. If you still see it, add ?chromeprobe=1 to the address to show a small panel of diagnostics and send us the screenshot.
