    The site loads quicker, and says only what we can back up

    Analytics no longer competes with the page for a phone's connection, and the sign-up page stops promising a trial length nobody has confirmed.

    • Faster first paint — Google Analytics was the biggest single download on the home page; it now loads after the page has drawn.
    • Readable small print — the 'as of' line under the metrics and two links in the FAQ were too faint to pass a contrast check.
    • No unconfirmed promises on sign-up — '14-day free trial' and 'no credit card required' are held back until they are confirmed.
