September 18, 2026A refund gives back the processing fee, and your statement says which lines are refunds
Belize Bank reimburse their processing fee when a payment is refunded, so we should never have kept ours. A refund now returns the commission with the money, and your payout statement names each line as a payment or a refund instead of leaving a minus sign to say it.
- The fee comes back — a refunded payment used to cost you the commission on business that never happened. It does not any more, and the correction has been applied to what you are owed.
- Refunds are labelled — every line on your statement and its CSV now says Payment or Refund, so a negative row is not mistaken for an old charge.
- Older lines are explained — when a payout includes payments from before your last one, the statement says so and how many, rather than leaving a date to look like a mistake.
